Both. They are from Boston and British subjects. Boston is a town in Lincolnshire and wouldn't mind taking a bett Boston US is named after it. in fact a quick google produced this.

"Governor Winthrop announced the foundation of the City of Boston on September 17, with the place named after the town of Boston, in the English county of Lincolnshire, from which several prominent colonists emigrated." :whistling:

I don't have to high of hopes to get more info. The British consulate is next to useless here in Chiang Mai.:(

Boston is from Lincolnshire just up the road from where I live , and yes Boston In America is named after the Town in Lincolnshire, incidentally there is a New York not far from Boston in Lincolnshire England .its situated on the East coast near the wash.

I did a google search but all that shows up is the same few lines. It will be interesting to see what the cause was. RIP.
