60 Day Thai Tourist Udon To Laos

Featured Replies

before i book a trip to laos to obtain a 60 day tourist visa. have a few questions

i had a 3 entry tourist visa issued in the states. i overlooked the expiration and now i am need to get another 60 days until i depart thailand in may 2011.

will the thai embassy in laos issue me another 60 day visa? i have read and heard rumors some places will not because of having to many prior tourist visa entries.

any info greatly appreciated. i sure hate going on the way there and find out i will be denied and told go back to the states and get one there.

thanks

If they don't excellent chance that Phonpen Cambodia will.

A single should not be a problem, especially if you can show a return ticket to the states. But otherwise as suggested, there are more consulates in the region.

You do no that you can extend a tourist visa by 30 days for 1,900 baht at any immigration office? In addition if you go to a neighboring country and return to Thailand by air you will get a 30 day permission to stay. (15 days if you return by land).

If he means he had a tripple entry and not his 3rd Tourist visa then no problems but in todays Pattaya Today Newspaper there is a big article saying that Vientiene will no longer issue TV's after having 3 TV's in your passport.

PS to the mods here. Maybe you can post todays article here on Thai Visa showing everyone? It was in todays edition of the Pattaya Today paper
