Yes dose, but also take's off wax coating. You can buy spray's any car auto shop. Dose the job better. Just melt's off the tar with less work as doesn't dry so quick.

I use WD 40, & then rewax the area.

There are also "tar removers" in a spray can form , you can obtain from automotive stores/places.

BABY OIL

if not cooking oil but i;m sure all you big men out there have some

baby oil?

SO how i know this is i work on the roads in the uk,

Spray it on or rub it on then wait for 2 changs then clean off ,paint work safe.

kda on the chang and back to the bike forum where nobody reports me to the MODS.

WD-40 will not damage paint, guaranteed, but agree about another Chang. :D
