"Morally right" might be a bit strong of an expression. It's not morally right to kill somebody. Airing your sweat on public transport is just disrespectful and distasteful and disguisting. (any mor dis's?)

However, they do have taxis in bangkok.

Based on your comments the obvious answer as it applies to you is, NO

Why not just take a shower before you go to bed and when you get up. This way your bed yourself will be much cleaner all the time and you wouldn't need to worry as much.

Maybe you should ask yourself is it Morally right to wander around in public stinking of the day before?

It's compulsory in Pattaya I've heard. A no-no in Bangkok though, as our noses are not accustomed to the smells of open sewer by the sea.

Morally?

A bit strong huh?

It is rude not immoral.

I've been 10 ft away from tourist Indians on BTS

and was offended way more.

Whew they f***in stunk!

They were dressed very well by the way.

Bathing in that area of the world seems to be optional.

Rude behavior both, only option is move away.

it is not morally wrong to offend other people with our stink or embarrass ourselves with the same....however, as one person already suggested,......how would you like it if someone aimed their "bush" at your face, and it smelled like yesterday? even if it smelled beautiful, it is still not nice.

I much prefer that it be a dirty, sweaty farang with long trousers and wingtips.

Excellent comment Ulysses. Regrettably, I trust, majority will miss your point. But thanks anyway

OP i do not know where you come from or what problems you have to ask questions like that, but what would be a reaction in any Western country to someone wearing flip flops, tank top and shorts, dirty and smelly in the capital city on the bus or train or any public place? Why would Thailand be any different?

If you could translate this into English that would be really great.

Unfortunately Google translate does not recognize the language.blink.gif

i think anything extremely short or tight is inappropriate..but at the same time i think they should be allowed to do it assuming they are not exposing any reproductive organs
