Totsagan
I have a multiple-entry O-A visa. I'll be leaving Thailand several times over the next few months. Where do I apply for a re-entry permit? (My current residence is in Kalasin). Can I get the re-entry permit in Bangkok, if so, where? Or do I have to go to Sakon Nakon? How much is the re-entry permit. lopburi3
Unless your original visa has/will expire you do not want re-entry permits with a multi entry O-A visa as using the visa entry you get a new one year from date of entry each time - a re-entry permit would only keep your exit permission to stay time alive. The cost is 1k single or 3.8k multi entry.
InterestedObserver
Why would you want a re-entry permit if you have a valid multi-entry visa. Does your multi-entry "O-A" visa expire during your proposed travels? In that case you do need a re-entry permit.
retiredusn
I will probably get banned but have you ever looked into what visa or extension you are on??????????
Totsagan
Thanks for all your replies. I arrived in January with my initial O-A visa, and won't have to do a 90-day report until mid-April. I'll be traveling to Laos in April and then to Singapore and Khmer in May. I didn't know if I had to get a re-entry permit in conjunction with the multiple entry O-A visa. Do I need to bring proof of income to with me? Thanks
Mario2008
If you have a valid multiple O-A visa you don't need a re-entry permit, as long as you return to Thailand before the date the visa from the embassy expires. No need for proof of income when you enter Thailand.
