Loz Posted April 6, 2011 Share Posted April 6, 2011 (edited) First thing I noticed about eating in Thailand is that convivial surroundings were not the same taste as back home. I got used to the flimsy plastic chairs, the fumes from passing cars at the roadside "chic eateries" But in all my five years I have never seen such a reality check as this tomyum restaurant. I mean, we know, chances are we are gonna get the dribbly shits. But this kind of early warning is not what I'd come to expect of our hosts. Is it a sign on modernization, per chance?
