Long years back used to get Burmese cheroots made out of such, I think, and even with a filter which you could read when finished. There was also a longish semi funnel shaped cigar, believe it used some sawdust to keep things burning. Brutal stuff, these were. In any case, ask an older guy, they might be using such papers for rolling their own with that stringy cut Thai tobacco. Try a motorcycle taxi driver, they know most things local. In bangkok, villa, foodland etc all have rizla and zig zag. havent set foot in a tops in 10 years, so dont know about them. ts edit, sorry, missed the ayutthaya part.
