Hi,

Does anyone know a reliable way to send paperwork to Thailand?.

I have had problems over the last year sending letters,Cards and parcels to Thailand ie the reciever not recieving them.

Any advice welcolme

UPS or DHL or registered Royal Mail should all get here.

Personally I try to do as much as possible with scans via email.

Royal Mail International Signed-for works well at a sensible cost.

Agree with above sentiments about sorting as much as possible using emailed scans.

Avoid getting any paperwork in the Royal Mail system. it's more likely to get lost there than here, it's all subcontracted now and there's no accountability.

That's why you should use registered post (aka signed-for, recorded and special delivery).

Just make sure there are no caveats in the T&Cs of whichever one of the choices available to you.

I know the "International Signed For" is only traceable before it leaves the UK. No idea of any options after it leaves (probably precious little, until its either signed for on delivery, or "lost" i would imagine)

I also know that the postman has signed for stuff on my behalf when i have been out and unable to sign for it, when someone has sent me a "signed for" packet. Probably saved him having to carry it round with him, til he got back, or whatever

Read the T&Cs carefully, trying to ignore the sales pitches
