Indian Mobile Phone Vendor assaulted and robbed in North Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- An Indian mobile phone vendor was badly injured in a robbery which took place on Friday Night in Naklua. Mr. Janardan Yadav aged 39 was contacted by Khun Damlongchai aged 32 and the pair agreed to meet in Soi 17 off the Naklua Road. Khun Damlongchai wanted to purchase a mobile phone for 1,500 Baht and Mr. Yadav arrived with a selection of phones to choose from. The suspect pulled a knife on Mr. Yadav when they met and demanded he hand over the phones and any cash he had on him.
