I've done a search already and not found much other than mention of Tonys Gym.

I just moved to east Pattaya, which I think is referred to as 'the darkside' for whatever reason. I am on Kao Noi and have tried two gyms already. One is Tonys which is a small 24 hour gym with terrible equipment and the other is 'Universe Gym' on Sukhumvit. 'Universe gym' seems ok and good enough for me if I can't find anything else, but before committing (although it's only 800 baht per month) I wondered if there were any better gyms or others worth trying in this area?

There are at least 3 different Tony's gyms Richard, 2 on Third Road opposite each other (South of South Rd.)

And there was a board sponsor previously with a gym up Soi Khao Talo (sp.) but I can't remember the name, it was a Roman type name (probably means gym in Roman?)

In my opinion, Castra gym is the best khao noi area.
