10 new “Green” school buses begin operating around Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- Pattaya schools have been presented with state-of-the-art “Green” School Buses. At Pattaya City Hall on Monday Morning, Khun Itipon, the Mayor of Pattaya announced that 10 school buses, one for each government-run school will provide students with free transport to and from their school. The buses are privately operated and will provide the service for the next 5 years thanks to a recently agreed contract worth 76 Million Baht.

We drove by the buses Monday morning, parked opposite the City Hall, they really do look very good indeed. Just hope they have some very good drivers to go with them to further safeguard the little lives that will ride in them.
