webfact
Men who built Australia's most expensive house go to war in Bali An Australian has fled from Bali to Bangkok after a group of fellow nationals had him charged with fraud. Barry Grossman made it out of Indonesia by dugout canoe from West to East Timor. Grossman and his two major adversaries all worked on 'Villa Veneto' Sydney's most expensive house which was recently sold for AUS$52 million. What happens when expats fall out. In this case its reported that tens of thousand of dollars has gone into Indonesian coffers as people shell out cash - to win. As usual the only winners are the lawyers and the fixers. Nobody is in jail. Nobody has got their money back. Barry Grossman says he is the victim of a vendetta and bribery and corruption and wants the case taken up by his governent Under Section 70.2 of the Commonwealth Criminal Code.
