Rimmer Posted June 9, 2011 Share Posted June 9, 2011 Gas tanker destroyed in “lucky” crash PATTAYA: -- A truck accident on a dimly-lit section of Highway 36 in Kow Mai Gow sub-district proved to be fortunate for the driver and other road users. Police from Huay Yai station, along with rescue services and fire fighters, were called to the scene of what appeared at first to be a single vehicle accident involving a fortunately empty gas tanker. The front cabin of the tanker was ablaze when fire fighters arrived, but the 37-year-old driver had managed to escape by smashing through his windscreen.
