Uk Or Thailand For Property Investments

Recommended Posts

The UK property market is set to collapse, once that ijit M King is out the way and the BOE start to tackle inflation your investments in the UK wil fall like a stone....The condo market in Thailand especially Pattaya is booming....I certainly know what I would do

Pattaya is booming, what a load of ****.

This has to be the worst place to invest in the world.

An economy based on bars and bar girls.

In the words of the great John Mcenroe.

You can not be serious!!!!

If all you can associate with Thailand is bars and bar girls, I think we all know what kind of guy you must be.........bet you speak Thai fluent hey...Tirak, Bi nai, Gin kow...anything else you know?

I do not associate Thailand with bars and bar girls, JUST PATTAYA, anyone who says different cannot be serious.

I do not even drink or go to bars if that is what you are inferring, as to my character. Typical if you do not have a leg to stand on attack his character.

More than likely speak better Thai than you, but what does that have to do with investing?

Guy's ESB7 as you may have guessed is in Timeshare sales !!!! and if you look on other Forums he has continued to put his case and crazy points forward but what do you expect from these brainwashed people.

ESB7 i wish you good luck i really do but it will be a difficult unless you change your veiws and attitude .

I will not be responding any more to this topic as it is a waste of time and has now gone completely of track and i have more contructive work to do.

All i will say to Black & White is that both countries have an opportunity to make money and invest in but proceed with CAUTION and avoid PATTAYA and Timeshare especially if you have a family it really is not the place to bring up a family.

It shocks me everytime i go and see that families have been sold a package family holiday to such a place.

But the question is would you buy condos or heaven forbid a TIMESHARE there?

Or are you a timeshare puffer too?

Not been to Pty for years, last time we went it was not a resort I would wish to visit again, there are I am told lots of great areas around Pty that are okay to live. There is lots of attractions around Pty that I guess is the main draw. Supermarkets, lots of food options, zoo's ect the sea. So for some a condo might be a good investment if you feel you could at some point be happy to live in Pty.

On a personal note Pty is not a place I would wish to live or invest particularly as in my opinion there are many other nicer places in Thailand to live

I was going to invest in property to let and nearly got burned in a new condo in Sukhumvit, Bangkok.

3m baht , would ...erm... should have rented out at 20k a month, which looked a better ROI than the property I let out in the UK, especially as the pound was plus 70 to the baht at that time.

However the place in BK is still not finished after 5 years, luckily I put a clause in my sales contract that allowed me to get my money back , which they paid by installments as they could not afford to pay back in a lump sum.

The place I have in the home counties has never been empty for a day in the last 7 years. In BK there are just so many places to rent the chances of you having a regular tennant for that long are very slim indeed. That also applies to every other major city/town in LOS

The UK is a safe haven if you have the right property , Investing in Thailand is a lottery IMHO, and I would never consider doing so again.
