Two dead, one injured in North Pattaya Motel shootout

PATTAYA: -- A shootout at a North Pattaya Motel left two dead and one injured on Wednesday night. Banglamung Police conducted a covert operation at the Red Horse Resort in Naklua with the intention of purchasing a gun from Khun Suchart aged 22, who is also accused of shooting the Police Officer earlier this week on Highway 36 close to the Regent International School. The suspect arrived with a second man and the transaction took place. However during the operation one of the men realized he was selling to Police Officers and Khun Suchart and his accomplice Khun Alis aged 17 produced guns and began shooting at arriving Police Officers.

UPDATE

Injured Police Officer rewarded following fatal shootout in North Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- The Police Officer injured in the Motel shootout on Wednesday Night received a visit from the Police Committee Chairman and Banglamung Police Chief on Friday Afternoon to discuss the case and receive the injured officer’s views on the shooting, which will form part of the investigation into the case.
