i am looking at buying a home in Bang Saray and i want to have a professional opinion on the structure of the home,i cannot find anyone who does building inspection in pattaya or sattahip on the net

Beware of self-proclaimed building "experts" who want to extract money from you though.

I did not know there where any. i thought that if the building stood up it passed.

In UK it's the bank you get your mortgage through that would arrange a building survey to check that the building is worth the loan, and you could also hire a building surveyor yourself.

Dunno what the banks do in Thailand but it doesn't seem to be the norm for purchases, it's 'what you see is what you get' and 'buyer beware'

building inspectors if there are any they would have had their brown envelope so dont pay them twice.[passed]
