So, can I just ask a girl to go on the birth control pill? Does it work like that? She just eat some pills and the next day we don't have to use a condom anymore?

Actually she's my fling who visits me every now and then for about a week. So before she visits this time, she just pops some pills and when she goes back, she stops them?

If this is OP is for real...I think this may be the first guy I've seen who is not qualified to have sex.

Mate -- wear a condom, regardless. And the pill won't be effective for at least a week after starting on regular usage.

Let's see .... to avoid wearing a condom he wants a girl not only to risk STD's/STI's he wants her to change her own hormone balance? SJ is right .. bag that puppy.

It takes at least a week of consistent use before the pill provides protection from pregnancy and it then has to be used consistently thereafter. It is not something you take just before having sex.

And, as other posters have pointed out, it provides no protection against HIV and other STDs.

Be a man....the chop or bag up.

If you chop, are you still man?

Kudos to you for more explicitly addressing the ethical aspect in a way that I was too lazy and apathetic to...

Dead right. If it's a fling, then presumably there's a good chance one or both of them are having sex with others (or certainly have had in the past) so not only should he not be risking it, nor should he be asking her to. And if it's just a fling, where does he rate telling her to start the pill cycle just for an occasional week with him?

So gotta start a week beforehand eh? That might be quite troublesome and too much to ask for. So it's 100% pregnancy protection?

In a long term stable relationship I see no issue with bringing the subject up for mutually respectful discussion....

The OP doesn't appear to be in a long term stable relationship..... This situation involves a potential risk of life changing proportions.

Bag up, or go mutually monogamous and then approach this subject......

The answer to your question was "No"

I am trying to get more info on how it works as I do not know. Usually we just do without a condom, then halfway put one on. Oh yeah, another question, after the first round, and I've ejaculated in a condom, then we go at it the 2nd time, are there any risks of pregnancy without a condom? Would the little sperms at the tip of the penis still be hanging around? Or should I clean up the penis a lil with a tissue first.

Yeah, I'm actually serious here. Can a little sperm covered penis cause pregnancy? I am uncircumcised so even after a quick tissue rub, I am sure a little is still hanging around.

To the OP:

No, the pill is not 1o00% effective. If used regularly without fail, effectiveness is quite high (>95%, varies with the specific dbrand/dose) but in real life, women sometimes forget a dose. note that with this method you are betting everything on the woman's compliance and ability to remember to take a pill every single day. (You are also, as has been pointed out, risking STDs).

As for the putting condoms on halfway through and taking them off then carrying ion, all of these can indeed result in pregnancy. Even prior to ejaculation small amounts of semen (with sperm) are often secreted. And yes, after ejaculation and removal of the condom, even with an attempt to wipe off, some sperm can well remain and impregnate the woman.
