Hi, just signed a contract for renting a condo in View Talay 2, Jomtien.

Anyone know about what kind of Internet that is available there. I need at least 3-4 Mbit/s

The landlord talked about WiFi but WiFi is not an option.

The building has wifi. Details in the offfice. Not cheap, and not very good.

You can get DSL via the phone line from the usual suppliers, and you can also get cable internet from Sophon Cable in South Rd.

The latter has the advantage that it can be turned on more or less instantly and is quite cheap. If I lived in VT2 I would have DSL and cable internet, for increased reliability.
