webfact Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 French tourist killed for refusing to have sex Malaysian prosecutors yesterday charged a man with murder in connection with the death of a French woman whose remains were found in a cave on Tioman Island. A report quoted investigators as saying she was killed after refusing the man's sexual advances. Ms Stephanie Foray, a 30-year-old French civil servant, was reported missing in May while she was travelling alone in Malaysia. Police found human remains buried in a cave on Aug 8 and reportedly confirmed through DNA tests last week that they were hers. At least let him stand trial first and a verdict of guilty is returned! The police haven't confirmed that she was raped. As she went missing in May it doesn't seem feasable that he would remain there for several months thinking he wouldn't get caught. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt before making judgements.
