Crossing in my truck into Laos from Thailand at Chiang Khong this coming Monday. Than exiting Laos to Thailand at Nong Khai. Does anybody know if there is any problem if I bring my small dog with me for the trip ? I plan on asking the Thai officials in Chiang Khong, but would hate to make the trip to be turned away at the border.

They don't check your car so if it is small then it shouldn't be a problem. Failing that stick it on a bucket truck and pick it up on the other side!
