Water Storage Tanks.

Featured Replies

My 6000 litre underground Neo storage water tank split its side this week, leaving the pump running constantly trying to replenish it.

I don't know if this will work but it was worth a try, yesterday a young guy recommended to me by the major supplier of storage tanks in Phuket repaired it.

The alternative was going to be a huge bill of 45,000 - Dos brand !

Has anyone had any experiences of these underground tanks, this one has lasted 5 years ?

If I am going to consider purchasing a new one, which is the best brand for above ground and underground ?

Makes more sense to have three 2 cu. metres tanks connected together with stop valves, and they can be installed one above and two below ground level.

Used Plastic before... same problems...reverted to concrete tank only solution

any underground plastic tank without water, will be unable to withstand pressure from mud. so rather than focusing on tank quality, installation method is more important. a good installation with concrete floor over will be good for decades

plastic tanks worse enemy is UV rays, and as they are not present under ground, they can survive for a long time

and yes, rather 3 x 2m3 than one 6m3, as it allows to shut off one if broke
