T_Dog
Wimpy.... Keep us posted on how things are looking down there. That area got hit hard back in 2005, but the river dredging over the last few years should help.

Ginkas
Sirens going off at the moment in ChangKlan area. Announcements being made over the 'village' loudspeaker system. Too indistinct for me to make out what is being said. Either flood or an air raid.

WinnieTheKhwai
I drove through the Nong Hoy intersection with Aom Muang just now and did not see any issues.. It's of course possible that there is some water closer to the market area. Traffic looked like it was moving slower in that direction.
naboo
They have predicted a rise of 50 centimeters from now until 3 PM today. Mae Taeng is supposed to have problems at the moment, too. It rose exactly double that.

orang37
According to a neighbor, the Gymkhana Club area is now flooded. In the 2005 flood there was, at its peak, more than 30cm. of very fast-flowing water in the small soi just outside my house, but I was lucky: it only got in the house to a level just below the power outlets in the kitchen area, and the rest of the house, which is elevated, escaped. ~o:37;

piewarmer
Hi Any Riverside Condo Resident ? Is it possible to come from Super Highway to Riverside Condo, just before the Bridge ? Thanks for information Philippe You might be able to walk there but the current down the road is knee deep and flowing very fast. Roads all closed around Nong-hoi along the Lamphun road. Roads all closed around Nong-hoi along the Lamphun road. Actually, the road is OK until Holiday Inn, from the Intersection with Super Highway (the one leading to old Lamphun Road). But after Riverside Condo, Holiday Inn, going North, flood. Actually, I managed to see some cars and motorbike on the bridge ... but not often. Super Highway is packed with car parked, and of course. people just wanna have a look at the river. Drive safe, JAM... Philippe
