rio666uk Posted November 11, 2005 Share Posted November 11, 2005 (edited) Hi - now i aint no farmer - and i live in the UK... so this is my suggestion - goto the issan forum and have a look through each of the farming related topics, you will find stuff on rubber, sugar-cane, palm oil, peanuts, fish farming, pig farming, beef and dairy cattle, irrigating the land, bore holes and water pumps, vetinary costs.... the list goes on In the thread that I posted earlier about "farming issan land" there were a few replies from "random chances" - he is one of the best sources of advice particularly when it comes to cattle - although he looks after dairy i believe he has good all round advice about beef cattle farming... there are lots of other chaps that have knowledge on issan farming so its probably worth emailing/PM them for their advice - 250 rai isnt a small area and will take some considerable investment, planning and maintainence - I would think!
