Looking For A Place To Purchase Used Furniture

Featured Replies

Anyone know of a place that has a good selection of used furniture?

King Size Beds and Frames, Office Desks, Dining Room Tables, Sofa, Lamps

and Warerobe for clothes.

Looking to furnish a couple of Un-Furnished Condos and don't want to

break the bank.

Used to be a place out in Hang Dong that advertized in the Newspaper,

but I was never able to find it after a couple of attempts.

Thanks for your help.

I think that the place you were mentioning in Hang Dong closed down a while ago.

There are a couple of antique dealers on the super-highway betweek Chank Pueck and Huay Kaew. However, I think you best place is to look at the City Life classifieds, the expat newsletter classifieds, and the Church Classifieds to find used stuff at reasonable prices. There are also the various flea markets around the city.

I will have an office desk coming up for sale soon as I've ordered a new one.

If interested PM me and I will send you pictures and price.

I agree. The used furniture shops will surely disappoint you. I know of two and they are expensive and a lot of the furniture comes from failed businesses so it is pretty much thrashed or moldy even if it was not used for too long. There is one website that I can not think of the name right now that has great stuff. It's a Thai website local to C.M. and there are some very nice things on there. If I can think of the name, I'll PM you.

I've found some nice things through City Life classifieds as the other poster mentioned.

Thanks for the information.... keep it coming.

There is a huge second hand store on the Nong Hoi Road on the left just before the super highway if you are heading south. They carry everything under the sun including furniture.

why is second hand items like furniture so expensive in Thailand. i have found quite a lot of places in and around Pattaya ans they have lots of stuff .but looks like it been thier years !!! would have thought they wanted to shift it ? but the prices are so expensive. even some are more expensive then you can get the same thing NEW. dont they want to sell/shift the stuff?

maybe some one could pass this on to the second hand dealers.or may be you know some in and around Pattaya that is better

Hey Doc that is an Eagle SS Kit Car is it not in your sig picture do you have it here in Thailand ??

Seems many second hand shops here of all pursuasions, unlike the west, are grossly overpriced. Walked past a second TV shop today, can buy new at almost the same price. In the past when I've looked always ended up buying new.

check craigslist

You don't have to signal a social conscience by looking like a frump. Lace knickers won't hasten the holocaust, you can ban the bomb in a feather boa just as well as without, and a mild interest in the length of hemlines doesn't necessarily disqualify you from reading Das Kapital and agreeing with every word. ~Elizabeth Bibesco
