Macbook In Pattaya

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I recently dropped my macbook and its toast. Anyone know where I can pick one up in Pattaya? I would like to just buy from a store rather than have it mailed. Any places I can get a deal on one? My budget is 1-2k USD.

Thanks!

There are official Apple re-sellers (iStudio) stores at Tuk Com and Central Beach Mall. Power Buy and Banana IT, also at Central, are official resellers as well.

In Tuk-com there's a shop called i beat, i think it's on the 3rd floor and they sell all Apple products and are usually slightly

cheaper than the other sellers inside Tuk-com. They also have Macbooks on display so you should be able to buy instantly and don't be afraid to haggle with them too.

Ok. thanks for the advice!

keep in mind that new macs in thailand only come with the english-thai combined keyboard (which i why i have always bought in the US, where there is no price differential either).

so you might see if the dealer can swap the keyboard from your dead mac if possible.

Is it possible to order an English only keypad? It is possible with Blackberry phones.

it's worth a try to see if you can order. i was told that they don't stock them.i had a macbook pro that needed a new DVD drive, and the apple store at fortune city (bkk) had to order a replacement drive from Singapore, one week delivery time.

hmmm. the US keyboard is a must. useful info. thanks. I will see if they can order one for me.

I thought most laptops in Thailand were Thai/US keyboard as opposed to Thai/English

The keyboard will be Thai/US but if you want a US only keyboard you can order it if you can wait for the delivery time.
