Thailsacien
Hi all, I plan to drive from Nakhon Sawan to Bangkok during the weekend (yes, I know... ) According to this very useful map: http://tinyurl.com/5tu6c58 this should be possible by following road 1/32 (Asia Highway) to Ang Thong, then road 309 and finally road 347 until ring road 9 where I can catch the expressway. Is anybody living in the area who could confirm that these road are passable for a pick-up? Many thanks for your answers
Kwasaki
I would think a bad idea but as on another thread, " it's up to you ".
Thailsacien
I'm now in Bangkok. I've followed the Asia Highway from Nakhon Sawan to Bangkok without any problem. Stopped at 2-3 police boxes to ask if the road is free, they confirmed it's OK for lorries, trucks and pick-up / 4WD. Small cars should avoid.
