Thai Post Prices

I know the obvious answer is to go to the post office and ask, but i have a feeling i may not be understood, may get the wrong info, may not get complete info. Unfortuneately the ThailandPost.com website doesnt have this information and if you choose english and a destination (UK) for their cost checker i get told something like info not found.

What I am looking for is details on the cost of sending items to Europe and the UK using the following services of Thailand Post :

* Letter

* Printed Papers

* Small Packet

* Internaional Parcel

* EMS

I realise that most if not all of these are based on weight - if you are

able to send the tables to me I would appreciate that, however if you could

tell me the start proce and the increments in cost and weight, that would be

fine also.

Also, where applicable to the above services, could you tell me the cost of

the following add-on services for sending items to Europe and the UK :

* Certified Mail

* Registration

* Insurance

* Advice of Delivery

* Express Delivery

K. Bob, this is a long list of numbers you are asking, seems like you will need to work these legs a bit. Go to a big branch, my experience is that English is good enough.

Got some replies from Thailand post - seems they have all the info i wanted in 2 files - posting them here.

Howeever I have a problem with the main file as it was produced and saved in word 8 format and when i use openoffice to open it - i get a nice crash. If anyone can get into these files ok and save them in a earlier version of word or as a pdf would appreciate it. Also when i open the doc in wordpad seems to be pretty garbled and i'm not realy sure if it has got good info in there..

the online service doesnt work for me and it is good to have all details off line - of course the proces could change -
