Info In Work Permit

Featured Replies

Hi all I just applied for my first wp today . I used a service to do this as it was my employers first time and I had no idea what to do also.

They did seem to ask a lot of irrelevant questions.

Just wondered if somebody here who actually has a work permit can confirm exactly what personal info is inside. Of course your name and address but they kept being pushy on my marital status in the u.k as well as other things. Is my marital status even printed in my work permit? And what else is in there.

Thanks in Advance

I believe this is the form for your work permit application:

wp.doe.go.th/sites/default/files/form/form_tt1.pdf

I see no question there about the applicant's marital status. Perhaps the person at the law firm wants to know if you are single and if you are, will try to match you up with one of his relatives :)

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

They might have asked you about your marital status because they hope they will also do your income tax, and yearly PND 91 filing.
