Hi Thai Visa community.

I am coming to Thailand last minute and will arrive on a 30 day visa on arrival... (uk passport)

Is it possible to extend this at the samui office and how many days does it grant me.

- note this is to extend the standard tourist visa you get automatically on entry.

It's not a visa, you are receiving a visa exempt entry. You may receive a 7 day period of reveiw that serves as an extension for 1900 Baht, and may have to show an air ticket exiting Thailand within that period. The bigger problem may be, is if the airline will let you board without a return ticket within the 30 days allowed for the visa exempt entry.

Get a visa by return of post at a few consulates in the uk, send tuesday get back thursday, or while you wait with an apointment.
