Google Maps Street View Spotted In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Well, I spotted the car with the camera, hopefully it spotted me too, making a funny face as I passed it on the back of a motorbike taxi on Thonglor. I am very happy to see that Google maps is taking an interest in Bangkok, and the Street View is amazing. I can't wait to see how well this turns out.

Anyone know how long it normally takes from when the camera car is in town to when the Street View is available for that city?

Quite a while, as they have to blur out all the idiots making funny faces at the cameras... :P

awesome

Hopefully they go to Khon Kaen as well.

In Google Earth, I almost live in the jungle up here.

Must have been several years since it was updated.

yes in came down my sub soi yesterday morning in Klong Toei

Although Phuket is not mentioned in that list of locations that Google Street View is currently surveying, I did post about 6 weeks ago that a Google Street View car went directly past my building site at Phuket Airport.

Perhaps he was lost?
