Work Permit Renewal Insanity

Featured Replies

If there is something I'm completely missing then please explain. Because it scares the shit out of me that I had to get a blood test to renew my work permit that I've had for 5 years!! What on earth is going through the minds of the daft government this time, and why do they insist on making it harder an harder for law abiding foreigners to stay legit? Like I said, I there's something I don't understand please explain.

It's been like this for the last year. Thais need to provide syphilis tests as well for government jobs.

I did mine yesterday. No syfilit! tongue.gif

I guess they will not renew the WP if you have Syphilis.

I read that its only 3rd stage syphilis gets you binned, while if you are still 1st stage and treatable you can get the work permit. No crazy foreigners please!
