Passport Stamps For Uk Family Visa Application

Hi all

I am in the process of applying for a family visitor visa for my thai wife to come over to the uk for 6 months.I am getting everything ready and would like to know if i have to supply all copies of my thai entry stamps in my passports as i have been to thailand every year since 2005 and have stayed there for as long as 11 months some years.Do i have to just copy the time i first entered eg july 2006 and when i left to return to the uk eg june 2007,or do i have to copy all the times i had to do a visa run?Also as i have lots of photos of us together but cant remember when they were taken,i remember where they were taken but i have been so many times and my memory is not the greatest,so can i just put tte location and guess the year?1 more thing,we will be staying at my parents house when she comes and i must supply proof of ownership of the household,will the land registry certificate suffice as the deeds for my parents house are in the past occupiers name?ok thanks in advance.

I always think that whilst you don't want to swamp the ECO with information, it's better to give too much than to little. So I suggest that you copy every page of your passport.

You don't need that many photos, just a dozen or so. Approximate dates are fine, your passport will show how often and for how long you have visited her.

Land registry form is fine. Your parents should also write an invitation letter describing the property to show that there will be at least one room for your exclusive use.

Where are you currently living? If in the UK you will need to explain why your wife is only visiting and does not wish to settle in the UK with you.

Thanks for the reply,I am currently in the uk and am going over at he end of january.

The reason i am only applying for a family visa and not a settlement visa is first because it will be her first time here and i want her to come and improve her english and show her around the uk and secondly money being a factor as i have only recently started a new job as before i was on an agency,do you think that will matter when i show my wage slips for 6 months?Also i have been supporting my wife while she is in thailand as we have a 11 month old daughter that is ours,would she need to show her bank balance as well as mine to prove i have been sending her money or is just mine enough?One more thing as my daughter has a british passport,when we arrive at passport control in the uk ,will my daughter have to come with me through immigration or can she go with my wife as im sure being with her mother will be better?Thanks in advance

Choose the fastest moving queue. Heathrow Terminal 3 the non-EU queue tends to be better staffed and can be quicker sometimes! A screaming baby may get them moving even faster!!
