PM Yingluck pledges to emphasize on drug eradication and sustainable water management

BANGKOK, 15 January 2012 (NNT) - The prime minister affirmed the government's intention to put an emphasis on drug eradication and sustainable water management.

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra told reporters after joining Chiang Mai Governor Panada Disakul and Army Commander-in-chief, General Prayut Chan-o-cha during a visit to the Doi Tung Development Project on Saturday that her government has always given an emphasis and will strive to eradicate drugs in Thailand and to achieve sustainable water management.

PM Yingluck stated that the government will also adopt His Majesty the King's advice to “grow a forest without growing it” which applies a natural reforestation technique and Her Majesty the Queen's advice to involve people in growing the forest.

The Premier added that the Strategic Committee for Water Resources Management has been tasked with the planning of the water management framework that can be simultaneously executed along with the drug eradication campaign around the border area.

General Prayuth has concurred with the prime minister that the revival of the forest can be an effective way to eradicate drug problems as it can create jobs, which will cut down on drug production along the border.

that her government has always given an emphasis and will strive to eradicate drugs in Thailand and to achieve sustainable water management.

so eradication of drugs takes precedence over or is on an equal par, as providing people with the god given right of clean, drinkable water. our life source. cowboy.gif

Yeah, f#ck good governance, fiscal responsibility and upholding the law. Of course, it could be another lie.

Parrots are known for their perchance to minic what they hear. Normally there is a repeat/reward sequence in place to ensure the desired result is achieved. In this case, the PM's statement and the order of the her goals seem to further clarify her/his piorties.
