Hi All,

Im in a slight panic as we have just put in my wifes settlement visa application and I have realised that I may have missed a a piece of vital evidence.

we plan on living in my mothers house and therfore we provided the following evidence:

Land Registry - Title Deeds and Plan;

My Mothers Final Mortgage Payment Confirmation Letter;

My mothers council tax statement for 2011;

A letter from my mother stating that my wife and I are welcome to live wih her.

however we have not sent any photos showing the rooms in the property or a house survey....im worried that they will turn us down for this?

are they likely to ring and ask my wife for the extra evidence? or just turn us down?

My wife has been to the UK twice now, first time on a toursit visa and second time on a visit to marry visa...both times we lived at my mothers home, are they likely to take this into consideration?

Help!

It is highly unlikely that a visa would be refused for this reason. Certainly, there is no requirement to provide photos, so it would not be a valid reason for refusal. If, however, they did refuse a visa, then you would have a right of appeal ( although no longer free), and providing the photos as grounds of appeal would surely get the decision overturned.

If they do refuse the visa on the sole fact that you didn't provide photos, then please contact me amd I will take it up with the Embassy on your behalf.
