Thanks Mole,

I opened up a business in Nong Khai and I thought my GF was saying Tiger Inn but it was Thai Gun Aeng.

Now I know what it means.

you probably mean ไทยกันเอง

would probably mean "among us Thai"

Actually, no: กันเอง means friendly, amicable, comfortable, familiar, easy (as in easy-going or at ease). One phrase common on sidewalk food carts is รสชาติเป็นกันเอง, which could be translated loosely as something like "the flavour you know and like" or "the taste that pleases".
