Gopro Hero Motorsports Camera

Featured Replies

Hi,

just got a GoPro camera shipped over from the UK - helmet-mounted HD camera - had a quick test run today on a CBR 150 - fantastic camera - once I've got some good footage I'll post some YouTube links to videos.

I was stung for 2,000 baht import tax however! :-(

Anyone got any experience with these cameras? If anybody is in Hua Hin and wants to take a look just send me a PM....

Thanks,

Roland

Great Camera , make sure u get a handle bar mount kit , u can get some really good footage .

Hi,

here's the link of the first test run - the angle wasn't quite right and the video is a bit long and uninteresting, but the results with the camera are great. I feel a road trip coming on licklips.gif

Might be cool if the mods made a sticky just for motorcycle videos... Whaddy'all think? :)

Roly I thought that was cool & much more steady than I remember helmet cams to be!

Music was a nice touch too!

Thanks

Yeah it was very steady - I guess the combined effect of motorbike suspension and body suspension. There's an option in iMovie to apply smoothing but I didn't need it, unlike older videos where I just used a handheld compact (a bit dangerous too!!!)....glad u liked the video...
