Russian loses his clothes following late night swim on Pattaya Beach

PATTAYA: -- A Russian Tourist arrived at Pattaya Police Station early on Monday Morning wearing only his underwear after his clothes were stolen while he went for a late-night swim on Pattaya Beach.

Mr. Sergi Marushko aged 30 explained to Police that he decided to go for the swim at the northern-end of Pattaya Beach and when he returned to the beach his clothes had disappeared and there were no witnesses who could explain who took them. Inside his trouser pocket was 1,500 Baht in cash and luckily his credit cards, passport and other personal items are safely locked-up in a room safe back at his Hotel.

We understand that one kind-hearted Police Officer purchased a T-Shirt and pair of shorts for Mr. Marushko

Looks like the average Russian man going to shopping at Tesco.

Very nice of the police man to purchase a pair of shorts and T-shirt…

could've been a lot worse.. i remember an israeli guy went for a swim over in koh phangan.. he lost everything.. his whole backpack with his money, passport, valuables, all his clothes.. everything.. and then the taxis didn't want to take him because he only had underwear on..

He's well fit. Didn't really need the t-shirt to go home. cowboy.gif

So then, just so he can look like a complete dill they drag him back to the beach in his under wear with the BIB photographer to re enact the crime lol.

Why the <snip> does he have to that? as if pointing to the sand where his gear was will make one IOTA of differance, sand is sand LOL

Desguised profanity removed.

If this would happen to me, I would be quite surprised to make it into the news, but then, I probably wouldn't bother reporting it to the police. Or would the police in Pattaya stop and question you if you walk back to the hotel in swimmming trunks at night?

thats one russian that wont be russin into the sea at night again.
