angsta
They were checking the ferang owned bars in Soi Bukhow last week as well when some football games were on. No license/bribe = no selling beer. They didn't seem so concerned about the Thai owned place next door, wierd that.

TheWalkingMan
Besides the moving goal posts... Does anyone know the step-by-step rules for a bar to become licensed? I would think, and I am usually wrong, that the business license department at city hall would have a check list.

Would in interesting to know if anyone knows for a fact how long, after Googling it appears some are saying 30 days not 3 months so I'm not sure. Maybe the closure was due to being being unlicensed for after hours???
