For Sale: Hardtail Mtb (Giant)

Hi,

I have a Giant 'Revel 1' for sale (available from approx. 10th March!)

I bought it in Phnom Penh and am currently touring through Laos, so would be looking to sell somewhere in Northern Laos or Thailand (Chiang Mai would be ideal).

I bought it new for $430 USD late January, will sell for $200 USD (6150 THB) ONO early march.

The bike is as bought, but with semi-slick tyres and a local rack fitted. I haven't had any dramas with it so far and any damage done between now and sale will obviously reduce the price. No photos sorry and can't post links, but google 'giant revel 1' and you'll get some info. and pics.

Let me know if you're interested.

Cheers!

Alan

Hi,

I'm in CHiang Mai and have friends who might be interested.

In addition to the size, can you divulge what model fork this bike has and what brand/model some of the components are?

TIA.

- The frame's L/20" (other dimensions for the size are on the website).

- Forks are SR Suntour XTC 80mm travel with preload adjust and lockout

I'm no expert on bike components but from what I can read:

- Tektro discs and Hayes MX4 calipers

- Shimano Alivio rear derailleur

- Shimano front derailleur, crankset (3sp) and cassette (8sp) (not sure of the models sorry...)

- Not sure about headset or bottom bracket, but would be as listed on one of the Giant websites

Sorry I can't be much more help, if there's something specific you need to know I might be able to have a closer look.

Thanks. that's exactly the info I wanted.

Sorry, but no one i know is looking for a bike that big.

It sounds like an excellent deal at that price though.

Good luck.

Hey Chris,

I'll be leaving Chiang Mai on the 14th unfortunately... (and probably arriving around the 9th or 10th)

Let me know if you think you can work something out though.

Cheers,

Alan
