Upgrade Honda Cbr125 To Cbr150 With Original Parts

Featured Replies

my friend has cbr125 and asked me to upgrade his motorbike to cbr150, cbr125 has SOHC 2valve, cbr150 DOHC 4 valves, can someone help me what parts i need to ship him? and if know tell me prices of parts and where to find? thanks and have a nice day

I'm presuming he's in the UK / Europe and restricted to a 125? If so it's not worth the problems it would cause once he gets rumbled.

I had the CBR 125 in the UK and they are shit compared to most things but he will be in a whole load of trouble if that's what he's doing if he gets caught.

If he's not on restriction then he may as well sell his 250 and just buy a bigger bike. Cheaper, i would imagine and a hell of a lot easier.

By the way, if he did some research there are places selling the kits he needs, dunno if they are any good or even work though.

kits for cbr125 and again it will be ohc and not same power as cbr150, athena 166cc etc, but he wants same as cbr150

Go to a Honda shop. You need to order a piston, cylinder barrel and a complete cylinder head (i.e valves and everything). Aftermarket places also have kits up to 200cc.
