Family Heartbroken as Teen Found Murdered After 5 Days Missing
Police were alerted at around 10.00 on September 29, to the discovery of a lifeless body found floating in an abandoned pond in Ban Thon Mai Phai, Moo 4, Klong Hoi Khong, Songkhla province. The scene, located in a remote thicket not far from the local village. Investigators from the Klong Hoi Khong Police Station, along with officers from the Songkhla Provincial Investigation Unit, forensic specialists, and rescue teams from the Mittraphap Samakkhi Foundation of Hat Yai, arrived to inspect the area. The deceased, identified as 15-year-old Kanawat, also known as "Fang," a M3 student at Wat Pho School, was found wearing his school uniform. Initial assessments suggest that Fang had been dead for approximately five days. His body bore signs of assault, including rope marks around his neck and bruises on his torso, suggesting he had been strangled and beaten. No evidence of a struggle was found at the scene, leading police to believe that the teenager may have been killed elsewhere and dumped at the pond. Family members reported that Fang had gone missing on the evening of Tuesday, September 24, along with his black Honda Wave motorcycle and his mobile phone. Desperate to find him, relatives had taken to social media to appeal for information. Tragically, early this morning, a local resident foraging for mushrooms discovered Fang’s body in the abandoned pond. Fang’s remains were taken to Songklanagarind Hospital for a more thorough autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Speaking to police, Fang’s older sister, Ms. Fern, recalled that her brother disappeared after school on September 24. He had reportedly dropped off two friends at their homes and mentioned that he was going to take a ride near Ban Muang Khom, Kuan Lang sub-district. After that, no one heard from him again. Normally, Fang would drive his motorcycle to drop his mother off at work each morning and pick her up after school, but that day he failed to do so and vanished. Fang’s grandfathers, Ta Teng and Ta Toi, also revealed that they had tried to call him in the days following his disappearance. Initially, their calls connected, but they were immediately blocked each time. After two days, they could no longer reach him at all. His friends reported no conflicts or altercations in the days leading up to his disappearance. Police were investigating the possibility of robbery, as both Fang’s motorcycle and phone are missing. Another angle being explored is whether he may have had a personal conflict or encountered a dangerous situation that led to his tragic death. Officers after reviewing any CCTV footage from near the area and interviewing Fang’s friends, on the afternoon of September 29 were able to arrest one suspect involved in the murder. The suspect, 15-year-old Boonmee, a friend of the victim. CCTV footage from near a convenience store close to the crime scene captured an image on September 24 at 15:22, showing Boonmee riding a black Honda Wave motorcycle, which belonged to Nong Fang. After knocking him unconscious during a fight, Boonmee is reported to have rode the motorcycle to pick up his girlfriend before giving her a lift back. Boonmee then returned with his girlfriend to the crime scene to check if Nong Fang had regained consciousness. Upon arrival, they found he was still unconscious. Boonmee then used a rope he had brought with him to strangle Nong Fang to death, dragged her into the water and fled on the stolen motorcycle. Picture from responders. -- 2024-09-30 -

Why Men Are Rejecting Marriage
Given that large numbers don't bother getting married before having kids now, that's something that belongs in history. I see no reason for even having marriage any more given it's failure rate. Lawyers like it though. -

PM Paetongtarn Shinawatra Thanks Public After Topping Poll
FILE - Leader of Pheu Thai Party, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, daughter of Thailand's former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, wave before press conference in Bangkok, Thailand, Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024. (AP Photo/Sakchai Lalit) Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra expressed her gratitude to the public on Sunday after topping a quarterly poll conducted by the National Institute of Development Administration (Nida). Ms Paetongtarn secured 31.35% support, with respondents lauding her leadership and efforts to address the country's various challenges. Jirayu Huangsab, the prime minister’s adviser, conveyed Ms Paetongtarn's appreciation, noting that the success was attributed to the collaborative teamwork of government agencies. He stated that while the poll results reflected broad public approval, the prime minister urged all government bodies to stay committed to their promises aimed at alleviating poverty and improving the nation's overall well-being. Natthaphong Ruengpanyawut, leader of Thailand's People's Party (PP) and third in the Nida poll, downplayed the results, suggesting that such fluctuations in popularity are normal and often vary depending on the poll conductor. Nevertheless, he acknowledged that the feedback would be valuable in enhancing the party's performance. Elected as the leader of the PP following the dissolution of its predecessor, the Move Forward Party (MFP), Mr Natthaphong maintained that the party's engagement in House debates, particularly on Myanmar-related issues, had no bearing on its popularity. He also noted that the party's commitment to facts and community engagement remains steadfast. In response to questions about the influence of former MFP leader Pita Limjaroenrat, who was banned from politics following the MFP’s dissolution, Mr Natthaphong affirmed his own capability as a party leader, having led the PP to electoral success. He expressed confidence in his leadership ahead of his expected formal appointment as opposition leader this week. Mr Natthaphong indicated that the opposition plans to intensify its scrutiny of the government, ensuring accountability and transparency as they navigate through the political landscape. In the face of political ebb and flow, Ms Paetongtarn's recent poll victory serves as a reflection of her administration's ongoing efforts to connect with and address the needs of the Thai populace, setting a promising tone for her tenure ahead. -- 2024-09-30 -

How-To: How to stop Alibaba Commie-bandits from sending me spam?
NOPE!!!!!!!!!! This normally effective strategy....DOES NOT WORK....With the Alibaba Crew, who must be members of the Commie-Bandit party. No matter how many times you mark incoming garbage by Alibaba as SPAM.... For some reason, these commie bandits are able to circumvent this normally effective method. This is why I always say: Red Chinese are the pits, and the most insidious group on the Planet. They are both EVIL and Super Intelligent, too. We need to NUKE them....PDQ.... Before they destroy both our Planet, and also our minds.....with their Commie Propaganda.... -
