Eleven suspected Gamblers caught at Mini Casino event in East Pattaya

PATTAYA:-- Eleven suspected Thai Gamblers were caught at a rented room in Soi Nongprue, East of Pattaya on Friday Night, which had been converted into a mini Casino.

Police Colonel Somnook, the Banglamung Police Chief received a tip-off that the room was being used as a Casino and assembled a team of officers who converged on the location and arrested seven men and five women who were playing a popular dice game known as “Hi-Low” which in itself is not illegal, however the group were alleged to be betting on the outcome of each game which contravenes Thailand’s strict gambling laws.
