Yes, as at the time you bought the said prohibited chemicals you believed the chemicals supplied were real, therefore the act was illegal, because the intent was illegal Edited March 17, 2012 by Soutpeel

Sheryl
Post discussing illegal activity deleted. Seriously, people HAVE gotten into trouble here for but=ying (real; or fake) V or C OTC. In fact in soem locations scams have been reported where police hover near by to shake down tourists. between the legal risk and the risk of getting a fake -- get it from a doctor at a hospital or clinic. And this is one instance where my usual advice to avoid small clinics and very small private hospitals need not apply. Any will do.
tropo
Cialis and Viagra do not increase sexual desire. If you're not interested or you are distracted with other things on your mind it will not work.

Sheryl
Cialis (tadalafil) is longer acting than sildenafil (Viagra, Kamagra etc). Effects (including side efects) can persist for a day or so . 10 mg is the normal initial dose. AFAIK sildenafil and tadalafil are similiar in their effectiveness for ED and also in adverse side effects, but in the case of tadalafil these will last much longer/may be more pronounced. In particular back and muscle aches can last as much as 48 hours in some people. Note that Kamagra is just a brand name and is not available in Thailand, although the exact same drug is available under other brand names, including Viagra, Elonza and Sidegra. The last is the least expensive formulation and just as effective as the name brands. Also note that purchase/possession of these drugs without prescription is illegal in Thailand.
Naam
people react totally different when it concerns Sildenafil and Tadalafil. from own experience and a bunch of friends of my age group i can claim that those for whom Viagra works Cialis will not work and vice versa. tutsiwarrior
the purpose of both cialis and viagra is to maintain an erection such that normal sexual relations can proceed...well, the diabetes has got the best of me and neither drug works for the intended purpose... if you are diabetic then review the suitability of your medication for erectile dysfunction in this regard... wooloomooloo
Cialis is not for me. I purchased in LOS and was genuine product but ended up with extreme back pain the following day. Didn't know what caused it at first but then put 2 & 2 together. Googled the symptoms and sure enough. Never touched Cialis since.
bangkokburning
Is the fake Cialis nothing more than fake Viagra? OI had a discussion on the border with a guy about this some years back. My cynical self thought so. I am why would the Chinese bother? No if it actually exists somewhere as a generic, perhaps. Anyway, curious.
David48
... and my apologies to the OP. i still could not get erect, i waied again and tried again ... no reaction Wai-ing your willy won't work. My cynical self thought so. I am why would the Chinese bother? No if it actually exists somewhere as a generic, perhaps. Anyway, curious. I don't understand the question. Fake is fake. And as explained previously Cialis (real) is a different formulation that Viagra (real). Same chemical family but with a much longer half life, meaning the effects -- both therapeutic and adverse -- last longer.
cheeryble
Just to point out that there are some extremely reputable generic manufacturers around, starting in India. I think the first firm is called Cipla, and have been around many decades. If you buy their products you are buying the real thing. Not only have they reduced prices worldwide enormously, they have taken it upon themselves as a social function and have repeatedly defended themselves against legal onslaughts by mostly American big pharma on American home ground......they are doing so right now I believe. Good for them.

Sheryl
However Cipla does not have an ED drug registered in Thailand. There is also no need given that there is not one but 2 Thai generic brands of sildenafil on the market.
FBN
On just another note; if you buy at any of the street stalls that crowd lower Sukhumvit road, you may actually, apart from exposing yourself to a shakedown by the BiB, be buying not only fake but potentially toxic substances. These little packages of Kamagra are exposed to around 35+ deg C all day and every day and will degrade; so will all forms of "medication" sold that way.. Same chemical family but with a much longer half life, meaning the effects -- both therapeutic and adverse -- last longer. there might be fake Cialis and fake Viagra on the market. but i don't believe that there is fake Tadalafil or fake Sildenafil sold. both ingredients are extremely cheap that fancy packing and distribution overheads exceed the cost of the actual product. a few years ago Sildenafil citrate was available in India in bulk quantities between 650 and 700 UD-Dollars per kilogram, id est no "honest" faker would replace the main ingredient and jeopardise his actual or targeted market share. tests in Europe had the results that "fake" products contained up to 18% more active main ingredient than the "originals". to put things into perspective: 1 kilo of Sildenafil is required to manufacture 10,000 (ten-thousand) "fake *.agras" each 100mg. disclaimer: this is not a recommendation to break the law by buying illegal products!

cardholder
What is legal and available in Thailand? Does all this medication affect blood pressure therefor affects the heart? Only passing on what my Doc said - ED drugs do not conflict with blood pressure medications. They work in totally different ways. I can support Naam's earlier comment; Viagra never seemed to work for me, Cialis certainly does.

Sheryl
ED medications cause vasoldilation and DO have cardiac effects. Need top check with your doctor first if on any cardiac medications or antihypertensives. They are also as has been said many times illegal without a prescription. That includes buying it online. References to illegal activity have been removed.
