Love this thing, eat it in malaysia and its everywhere. The meat filling is made out of chunks of meat rather minced meat and quarter of an egg, very lovely. Its not the cp crap "big" pao in 7/11 that look smaller than a char siew pao

Yes. There is a well known shop called Wikul Phanich on Charoen Muang Road.

Yes. There is a well known shop called Wikul Phanich on Charoen Muang Road.

There are two shops next to each other, but you want Wikul, on the right.

They sell Chinese pastries with a variety of sweet fillings and a chinese lotus leaf wrapped dumpling which is better than the salapao INMHO. One of the ladies speaks good English

Just bought from there 2 days ago. its not that bad but not enough for me to make a trip down anymore again . . . its not the big one im looking for . . i dont know, perhaps it was cold when i eat, but the salapao at tanin market seem to taste better
