Want Good Replica Watches

Does anyone know where in Bangkok / Pattaya you can buy quality Replica Watches, I had been wanting a OMEGA Planet Ocean 45.5mm Chrono Black, and preferably one with blue dark blue dial, but it must be real quality time with Vajjux 7750 movements, and that is 45.5 mm.

Here is a link to watch.

One of the members here told me the best place to buy is a watch shop at the end of Soi Bukhao, Pattaya. Apparently they will waterproof the watch as well. In my experience copy watches are very hit and miss, they can look great but the movement lets them down every time. Some sellers will tell you they have either Japanese or Swiss movements, this is crap, the movements are Chinese. I know you can pay extra and supposedly get a Swiss movement, but it's not Swiss, it's an Asian clone of a Swiss movement. I have given up on copy watches, I bought an Omega PO and a Rolex Deep Sea Dweller, each cost me around 3000 baht, and I spent another 500 baht on getting one of them waterproofed, neither works correctly anymore. I figure for my total expenditure of around A$220 I could have bought a very nice Seiko or Citizen that would run trouble-free for years.

Where in Pattaya is Soi Bukhao?

Soi Bukhao runs pretty much parallel to 2nd and 3rd road Pattaya. The watch shop I mentioned is at the Pattaya Klang end of Soi Bukhao. There are two watch shops there, it's the second one in from Pattaya Klang.

Ask yourself when they tell you a watch has a Swiss 7750 movement (which cost around $500) how come the watch only costs $200 to $300.

There is a old guy at the back of the daily market on Pattaya Tai (opposite the Temple) who I am told does very good replicas.

The bottom line is that at least 90% of copy watches come from small factories in China, where there is NO quality control, so that's why it's a gamble buying them. The only protection the buyer has is if the seller offers some kind of warranty and is prepared to rectify any faults. Not much good if you buy a watch here whilst on holiday and then return to your homeland. My friend in Australia spent about $500 (the price of a very nice QUALITY watch) when he was here on hols, for that he got 5 copy watches, but I think only one is still working, and that's less than a year ago.

Go to Mr Wong at the very back wall of Wat Chai market, funnily enough located opposite Wat Chai on Pattaya Tai. He will honestly tell you the quality of the copy and pressure test it in front of you if it is a waterproof type of copy. They are not cheap though, expect to pay about 3500 baht for a good quality model. The think I like about him is that he will fix/replace it if faulty within a reasonable time frame. I have bought about 30 watches for friends from him in the last 15 years.
