Robert Amsterdam Speech to Red Shirt Rally 19 May 2012

http://robertamsterd...ly-19-may-2012/

Which reveals the epitome of the term, "fat cat lawyer"

fatcat.png

and includes, "I want to tell you, we will prosecute."

(apparently he speaks for the ICC now)

and

"We will never forget."

(unlike Thaksin wants us to)

"and never listen to any politician who tells you to forget"

Too many lunches on Mr Thaksin's expense account Mr Amsterdam!

He has put me completely off any more holidays to the city of Amsterdam.

He didn't think of donating one of his filet mignon dinners when the rotund one proclaims from the stage,

"Now I want to say something about my brothers and sisters in jail.

Their conditions are a disgrace.

And now our friends are in government.

We must beg them to feed our brothers and sisters in jail."

Yes indeed, his tee shirt is a little 'over the top'

Hahaha, this is sooo funny. They are slowly destroying eachother. This proves that even when you are a billionaire with great propaganda skill you still can not fool your "loyal" followers.

And Amsterdam is only there to fool the reds by saying he will put Abhisit and the army in jail.

Why not put the red-shirt leaders in jail for leading there followers into a deadtrap? Apperantly they were ready to sacrifice there people to win the game for Thaksin. And this is how the western world and educated Thais see it.

Off-topic posts have been removed. Please stick to the topic of the OP.

The OP being comments on Thaksins lawyers girth?

As a lawyer he would have had to belly up to the bar. This guy does a lot of belly aching on Thaksin's behalf and most people have had a bellyfull of him.

When populist movements such as the red or yellow shirt groups start to fragment, I take this as a sign that people are starting to think rather than just reacting emotionally. Thaksin and many others in both factions are loose cannons, loose cannons usually end up overboard, one just has to hope they don't render the vessel unseaworthy in the process.

Walk the plank, lose their head, or poisoned in the bath,

or simply grabbed by an angry mob and torn asunder.

All seem likely outcomes, at least metaphorically.

In today's papers all kinds of reds are denying any kind of split with Thaksin. I think it's the thought of being left alone that scares them the most. The choice between principles and Thaksin's patronage is not a very difficult one to make.
