I will be moving up to Chiangmai near San Kamphaeng and would like to get some feedback on some possible homes for rent in the area.

Need 2 Br at least and would like to be able to have pets also.

San Kampaeng is a very nice location, but make sure you don't rent a house next to one of the many home-industries or factories there as it can get a real pain in the .....

I hope you're planning on visiting and inspecting the house and area yourself and do not rely on internet pictures only!!!

we lived in Kankanuk 2 for a year... it was alright...just too far from the kids school for our liking. Nice pool and clubhouse, good neighbors, very good security - felt quite safe there. However soi dogs were a bit of a pain, although security did their best to keep them from wandering around.

Biggest problem with it was the heat retention of the solid concrete walls of the house. The walls retained so much heat that you could touch them (at midnight) and they were literally HOT... made for very large electric bill trying to cool down the house.
