Hi Chiang Mai looking for a good old Engish roast for this Sunday, can anyone point me in the right direction, yorkshire puds roast beef etc.

Cheers all.

Archer's Sunday Roast Beef dinner (after 1 PM) is really good. They used to scrimp on the roasted potatoes and veggies, but recent photos on Thai Visa indicate that they have seen the error of their ways.

We have a good Sunday Lunch at The Olde Bell and this Sunday we have some special offers as it is HM the Queen's Golden Jubilee. I have started a thread about it on this forum.

Good choice! Their roast lamb is excellent.

'The Pub' is by far the best option, however Franco Thai is a superb venue if you want a meat intake although they do not serve a traditional Sunday lunch they do what many consider the best value steak in Chiangmai.

I found a small place a few weeks ago that does a decent sunday roast. It is a small "bar" on Loi Kroh Soi 2 called Sweethearts.

I have been passed it loads of times and just looks like a quiet shop front bar, but on a sunday it seems to get pretty busy, there were at least 10 people came in for the roast while I was there. I believe the price was about 170 Baht. Not many places to sit though.. but it was very nicely done with good Yorkshire puds too..
