Angeledge777
Hello, I have a non-immigrant ED (education) visa. My first 90 reniewal is already done so I have the one year visa. I had, for some reasons, moved to north-eastern Thailand so I have to go to another university. This said, I have to wait until the next semester that will start next September and I am going to miss one full semester at the other university. My question is: is it going to end my non-immigrant ED visa or I keep it until the last day written on it?
Mario2008
When you end your course, your permission to stay ends the same day. Once you start the new course, or have the papers for the new course, you can apply for a new visa and later the new permission to stay. The best course of action might be to cancel your extension of stay. With the paperwork from the new university apply for a new Non-ED visa in a neighbouring country and after the beginning of the course in September apply for an extension of stay with again paperwork from the school.
