19 year old woman robbed at knife-point in North Pattaya

PATTAYA:--A 19 year old woman was robbed at knife-point early on Wednesday morning as she walked home with a friend.

Police were called to Soi Sukhumvit 45 in North Pattaya and assisted Khun Charitar who was clearly distressed and had reportedly arrived in Pattaya only days before. She explained how a Thai man with a shaven head approached the pair on a motorbike and he then approached Khun Charitar and threatened her at knife-point, demanding she handover all cash and valuables.

A purse containing 1,000 Baht, her Thai ID card and other personal items was taken by the armed assailant who then fled in the direction of the main Sukhumvit Road.
